Waffles Banja Luka

Come on, the smell of waffles while they’re baking… that’s one of the best things in the world! The moment you catch that warm, sweet aroma spreading around, your mouth instantly starts watering and you just know it’s going to be good. Waffles have become a total hit here in the last few years — you can find them everywhere: in crepe shops, pastry shops, street stands, even in cafés that never used to have any desserts. And it’s no wonder, because they’re brilliant: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and you can fill them with anything you want. The sweet classic is, of course, eurocream + Plazma biscuit + banana + whipped cream (the combo people literally line up for). But there’s also Nutella, white chocolate, strawberries, blueberries, ice cream, caramel, Lotus spread… basically anything you can imagine. And for those who prefer savory — there’s cheese, prosciutto, egg, avocado, even chicken with some nice sauce. Everything works! Bubble waffles (the ones with the little round bubbles) are especially crazy popular — they look amazing in Instagram photos, and all the toppings fit perfectly into those pockets. Belgian waffles are thicker and sturdier, perfect when you want something a bit more filling. Prices are generally decent, depending on how carried away you get with the toppings. Plenty of places also deliver through apps, so you can get them warm at home. Honestly, there’s no bad day that a waffle can’t fix. Even when you overload it so much that everything drips down the sides — that’s part of the experience. And if you’re in Banja Luka and still haven’t tried a bubble waffle with eurocream, strawberries, and ice cream… brother/sister, fix that ASAP. Life’s too short for bad desserts!
